In the recently held iFactor Competition at the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown’s LINC, Openplain’s Jonathan Mulligan won the said contest. Openplain can be sited at the National College of Ireland Business Incubation Centre.
As a winner, he got a check worth €4,000 which he can spend for Openplain. The said prize is financed by the City of Dublin and the even the Enterprise Boards from the county.
Openplain was established in 2008. Since then, the company aims to assist organizations in making the most out of staff efficiency by utilizing ground-breaking software solutions.
Openplains’ OfficeMetrics product won the said contest as it has greatly improved staff efficiency rankings by 7-15 pc.
In the said competition, ten companies coming from the different development and modernization centers in Dublin’s various colleges. Every company was given a few minutes to create their continual elevator pitch. Then, the companies go through a question and answer portion for another few minutes. This portion is conducted by the board of judges that’s composed of Emer Jameson, yourlocal.ie’s Managing Director; Anthony Bermingham, the former Lake Communications’ CEO and is now investing in technology business; Ethanol Ireland’s Managing Director Richard Walsh; and lastly, Anne Keogh who has ample entrepreneurial experiences in digital media as well as in directing needahotel.com.
